Turning Impossible Into Possible
We helped Microsoft successfully design the world’s first fully-untethered holographic computer by identifying and focusing on the most important issues for humans. Microsoft HoloLens was designed and built from the ground up around human factors. The display system, optics, tracking technologies, software and content, user interactions, form factor, fit and wearability, and even the silicon all required unprecedented human factors research and design.
A Breakthrough In Human-centered Design
For the first time, users could comfortably view and interact with 3D virtual content without the feeling of motion sickness that had burdened previous virtual reality technologies. This industry breakthrough in human-centered design has paved the way for broad application of mixed reality technologies and is helping to revolutionize industries such as space, healthcare, education and manufacturing.
